Sales Agent
 
Destination Homes is seeking a career minded individual to join their Sales Team as a Sales Agent for their Salt Lake communities.  This individual will greet visitors to the model home, guide visitors thru the model and inventory homes within community, gather prospect information for follow up and generate sales leads for our communities.
 
Responsibilities include exceptional customer service and communication with potential home owners, complete accurate and timely paperwork, prepare and submit all designated weekly and monthly reports within the established timeframes, ensure the most up-to-date contracts, exhibits, pricing, and other sales forms and materials are being used, actively participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings as required, manage MLS and company website listings, perform market research, advise and direct buyers throughout the New Home Sales process.
 
Qualified candidates must have a current Utah Real Estate Sales License, experience in new home sales preferred, must be client driven, self-motivated with proven ability to meet or exceed goals, willing to work hard, and learn new responsibilities, great communication skills, both up and down the chain, are critical.  Substantial income opportunities exist for top performers.

Construction Manager / Superintendent

 
Destination Homes, a residential homebuilder, is seeking a career minded individual to join their Construction Team. This person is responsible for assuring Quality and Safety in the construction of each home by working directly with Trade Contractors and Sales Team.  Successful candidates will be able to drive results by controlling and reducing costs, fixing the root cause of problems, and improving existing systems.  Building relationships with co-workers and trade partners is critical.  Expected outcomes include delivering high quality homes, on schedule, within budget, and per specification while exceeding customer expectations through the building and warranty process, and creating a positive working atmosphere, organize and schedule trades holding them accountable to budget and timeliness, finds ways to improve relationships internal and external. Candidates must be analytical, process driven, with proven ability to meet deadlines, make decisions and accept ownership. Must be multi-task oriented with insistence on uniformity of process and reporting. Great communication skills, both up and down the chain, are critical. 
 
Required Skills
·       Bachelor’s degree in construction management or minimum of 4 years of experience in residential construction management and experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously

Estimating Intern
 
Destination Homes, is seeking an Estimating Intern for their Purchasing and Estimating Team in Layton, Utah.  This individual will provide administrative support to the Estimator and the Director of Estimating & Purchasing, conduct product and system research and maintain accurate records for the department.
 
Responsibilities include issuing accurate take-offs for start packages; issuing up front cost estimates for new homes; assist with the issuing of P.O.'s and variance purchase orders to trades and sub-contractors; provide direct support to the assigned department / project; participate in daily operations and various work processes; Create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and department / project-related reports; Conduct research on all estimate-related variances and make necessary corrections in the system; Maintain accurate records for budget adjustments and provide an audit trail and back-up documentation for all adjustments made; Maintain a record of variance purchase orders (VPOs) for materials used in each home; Review all purchase orders for accuracy prior to the creation of live purchase orders; Generate accurate and timely purchase orders according to Destination Homes’ established guidelines.
 
Required Skills: Candidates must be detail oriented and have some knowledge of new home construction, ability to read plans and issue take-offs; Coordinate meetings and following up on action items; proficiency in full Office Suite, specifically in excel and adobe. Experience in residential estimating is preferred.

Land Department Coordinator
 
Destination Homes is seeking a Land Department Coordinator to join their Land Team in Layton.  This individual must be a self-starter who can manage multiple assignments and a variety of projects and tasks that range from organizational filing to initiating contact with land owners; Pro-actively work with team members to determine what assistance is needed and prioritize their work while managing the recurring tasks of keeping the department organized and functional. 
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
Responsibilities for this role include support to the Land Team in all functions of project and department management; Market data research; Support as needed on a wide variety of organizational and administrative tasks, with exposure to the lifecycle of a development project (from acquisitions through entitlement, construction and sales).  Other day-to-day office admin functions as directed.
 
 
Qualifications:
 
Ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment; Proven track record of self-motivation and strong organizational skills; Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; Adept in MS office suite with emphasis in Excel.

Residential Drafter
 
Destination Homes is seeking a career minded individual to join their drafting team in Davis County. This CAD position is full time with competitive pay and benefits.
 
Responsibilities:
This person is responsible for preparing and maintaining thorough and accurate working drawings with detail for an efficient and well-designed home.  Qualified applicants must have experience in residential drafting with efficiency in AutoCAD. Revit and Civil experience is preferred.  Successful candidates should be pro-active and focus on precision & accuracy.
