Assistant Construction Manager / Superintendent 

The Assistant Construction Manager will assist in the supervision of all on-site construction, including the scheduling of sub-contractors on the job, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Some construction experience is required.
Determine construction techniques to be used to construct the
Project; Oversee quality control of all construction; Participate in and often conduct weekly staff meetings and production meetings; Maintain project schedule creating a 2-3 week look ahead; Appropriately allocate manpower and resources; Manage all vendors and subcontractors on a daily and weekly
Basis; Identifying and resolving and potential issues as they arise; Maintain a clean and orderly job site; Track and manage subcontractor project scopes proactively
identifying potential issues; Other duties as directed by management.
Candidate Qualifications include and are not limited to 1-2 years commercial/multi-family superintendent experience preferred; Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines; Excellent communication and presentation skills; Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities; Technology skills to include excel, spreadsheets, and office suite.

Land Entitlement and Forward Planning Manager

Destination Homes is seeking an individual to join their Land Team.  This individual will formulate and implement all evaluation, design, entitlement and pre-construction activities required to deliver entitled lots to construction in a timely manner.
General responsibilities include: Maintain a detailed knowledge of the competitive market place; Continuously research land that is in the mapping process, or that has been mapped or improved, to identify attractive properties for purchase by Destination Homes; Oversee project deliverables necessary for the entitlement process, including land plans, specific plans, environmental studies, civil preparation of tentative map, annexation application and project design; Coordinate designs with civil engineers, land use attorneys, land planners, architects and geo-techs, and provide value engineering recommendations where appropriate;  Refine all cost estimates and project schedules created during the due diligence process;  Meet with agency staff, planning commissioners, and/or council members to win project support and to negotiate the most advantageous plans and conditions for approval;  Make formal presentations to public decision-making bodies and perform community outreach to secure community support for Destination Homes’ projects.
Required Skills:
Qualified Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, land planning, construction management, or equivalent. Master’s degree or MBA a plus.  Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential land development and entitlements, and experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously; Ability to read and understand engineering and architectural drawings; Excellent communicator and public precentor; Analytical, process driven, with proven ability to meet deadlines; Make decisions and accept ownership; Must be multi-task oriented with insistence on uniformity of process and reporting; Great communication skills, both up and down the chain, are critical; Task Oriented; Excellent follow up and follow through; Good with deadlines and proactive scheduling; Well organized; Proficient in excel, word, outlook; Read and understand CAD drawings; Adapts to change on the run.

Construction Manager / Superintendent
