Administrative Assistant / Department Coordinator

Destination Homes, a residential homebuilder, is seeking a career minded individual to join their office support team, as an Administrative Assistant and Department Coordinator.  This individual will provide ongoing assistance to the Office Administration Team and assigned departments, ensuring the professional and timely execution of their responsibilities and the overall success of their team.    
Areas of Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to various Departments and Executive Team members; manage data in multiple reports and coordinate with team members to ensure timelines and goals are on track &/or met; Effectively manage documents and reports, electronic data and department procedures to facilitate the seamless flow of work throughout related departments.  Provide ongoing support to the Office Administrative Team in daily functions of  the office, to include answering phones, greeting customers in a prompt and courteous manner, coordinating meetings and events, keep meeting rooms and areas of business in a neat and orderly manner at all times and perform all other administrative tasks as assigned by office manager.

Multi-Family Residential Construction Manager  
Destination Homes is seeking a career minded individual to join their Construction Team as the Multi-Family Residential Construction Manager.  This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating and control of a construction project from the inception to completion.  Ensure that requirements regarding the functionality and standards are met and that the construction project is concluded successfully by performing the duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Benefits include Health, Dental and Vision, as well as 401k option.  Salary and bonus will depend on education and experience.
·       Coordinate, schedule, assign, and monitor work performed by contractors, conduct detailed technical inspections for ongoing and completed construction work, read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and contracts, track, monitor and record projects.
·       Deal with any delays that may happen in the construction site, emergencies or the bad weather that may occur.
·       Evaluate specifications to plan procedures, starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction*Assists in assembling members for organization for each project
·       Order procurement of tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules
·       Direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays
·       Oversee supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances with work force
·       Manage supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods
·       Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules
·       Prepare or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports
·       Act as public spokesperson interfacing with concerned public and regulatory officials
·       Conducts construction activities within federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations
Job Requirements:
·       Commercial/Multi-family Experience Minimum 5 years required
·       Experience in construction project management required
·       B.A./B.S. Degree a plus*Master’s degree a plus
·       Excellent computer skills
·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·       Strong interpersonal skills
·       Strong work ethic, pride in work, team orientated, acute attention to detail and a desire to learn

Construction Manager / Superintendent 
Destination Homes, a residential home builder, is seeking a career minded individual to join their Construction & Warranty Team in Salt Lake County. This person is responsible for assuring Quality and Safety in the construction of each home by working directly with Trade Contractors and Sales Team.
Successful candidates will be able to drive results by controlling and reducing costs, fixing the root cause of problems, and improving existing systems.  Building relationships with co-workers and trade partners is critical.  Expected outcomes include delivering high quality homes, on schedule, within budget, and per specification while exceeding customer expectations through the building and warranty process, and creating a positive working atmosphere, organize and schedule trades holding them accountable to budget and timeliness, finds ways to improve relationships internal and external. Candidates must be analytical, process driven, with proven ability to meet deadlines, make decisions and accept ownership. Must be multi-task oriented with insistence on uniformity of process and reporting. Great communication skills, both up and down the chain, are critical.
Required Skills
·       Bachelor’s degree in construction management or minimum of 4 years of experience in residential construction management and experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
